LECTURE SHORT DESCRIPTION:
New research has shown that pet psychological stress causes a loosening of the epidermal margins. This is postulated to be the mechanism to explain the high correlation between Atopy and stress related behaviors.

LECTURE DURATION: This can be presented as the first hour reviewing the etiology and mechanisms and the second hour some basic starting behavioral solutions that dermatologists or general practitioners can add to the clinical management of non-responsive, recurrent atopy, acral lick dermatitis or other skin related OCD conditions.
